Enjoy a 3 hour safari with a local game ranger in a privately owned Big 5 nature reserve. Spot species such as lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, monkeys, tortoise and plenty of antelope species. You might be lucky and see some of the more elusive and shy animals like hyena or bat eared fox.

Amakhala Game Reserve has breathtaking landscapes, encompassing five of South Africa’s seven biomes and offers rich wildlife sightings, where visitors can view the Big 5 up close in their natural habitat while on safari. Other wildlife likely to be encountered on a game drive includes black wildebeest, cheetah, giraffe, zebra and plenty of antelope species. The game drive does not only focus on the large majestic animals, but also on the smaller, more humble mammals, birds and insects.
