Full-Day Cape Point with a Twist with Beyond Touring & Albatros Travel
A fun and adventurous water biking ocean activity, departing from our private marina in the harbor. Meandering through the yacht basin towards the beach, then heading up to the Clan Stuart Shipwreck, dating back to 1914, before turning back towards the historic naval base. Encounter playful Cape fur seals, other marine life & various marine birds along the way. The premium non-motorized water bikes are eco-friendly and designed to be used on the ocean. These easy no-hassle water bikes are silent, very stable, do not emit emissions, simple to steer and do not require any balancing.
Before continuing your journey, visit the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony to witness the African Jackass Penguin in its natural environment. After this delightful visit, travel to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve – one of two world-renowned landmarks within the Table Mountain National Park. The Cape of Good Hope functioned as something of a beacon for sailors for years and is still widely referred to as ‘The Cape’ by seafarers. Most visitors to Cape Town regard a trip to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point (the tip of the Cape Peninsula) as obligatory. This part of the park is home to an array of fynbos, over 250 species of birds, buck, baboons and Cape mountain zebra. There are numerous paths on which one can set off on foot, and tidal pools on almost isolated beaches. Enjoy the breath-taking views from Cape Point Lighthouse. In the late afternoon, drive along the coastal route via Noordhoek, Chapman’s Peak Drive, Hout Bay, and the Atlantic Seaboard back to your hotel.
